3D Realistic Drawing Skills
Drawing is the fundamental practice of making successful and unique 3d nipple tattoos. Much like in traditional tattooing we have to focus on drawing our designs before we tattoo them. Drawings are the blueprint of creating a unique and successful realistic 3d nipple tattoo. No 2 nipples are the same, we must be able to adapt to each individual that comes through our doors and that's why drawing is such a big part of this training.

Aftercare
Understanding and delivering the correct aftercare advice ensures you are managing client expectations and delivering the very best results reducing the risk of infection.
-
Working With Charities And Surgeons
Lucy is the founder of the UK’s first mastectomy tattoo charity and can advise you on the requirements needed for you to join the directory. She will also share her tips to getting connected with private surgeons and receiving referrals from hospitals and working with breast cancer support groups.
-
Expert Tips, Guidance, And Troubleshooting
Lucy is a known expert in this field, changing the standard of post mastectomy tattoos within the UK after seeing her aunties' faded hospital tattoo following her mastectomy. She was devastated to hear of the poor experience her auntie had and vowed to make a change within the breast cancer community. Lucy offers lifetime support for ongoing challenging cases.

This full training programme is suitable for people who want to learn everything there is to know about medical tattooing. I don’t feel a 2 day course is sufficient to cover everything needed to know for this service as it is so challenging with so many variables to consider, so that’s why I’ve worked hard at developing a unique and comprehensive mentorship training programme.
-
You will complete both theory and practical modules during your time with areola academy – an 8 week online mentorship including a drawing course and tasks to complete will be required to ensure we get the most of our time together on the day before spending 2 days in person training with a further 3rd day, ten weeks later, to assess healed results.
All pigments and products will be provided for you on the in person days of training.
You will be required to bring your own tattoo machine on the day of training and can have the opportunity to try Lucy’s if you’d like.
